  • Tal has managed and accompanied merger processes for conglomerates and corporations, including approvals and representation vis-à-vis tax authorities, Companies Registrar, and more.
  • Management of dozens of class actions in a variety of fields, including media companies, banking entities and credit companies, in securities, anti-trust law, and more, including:
    • Representing security holders in suit of a public company for failure to meet bond conditions;
    • Management of several claims against pension funds for charging beneficiary fees for insured parties without beneficiaries;
    • Management of claims against most Israeli banks for collecting fees that were not compliant with restrictions of the Banking Law;
    • Management of class action against Israel’s largest transportation company for discrimination and non-transparency;
    • Management of claims against most Israeli gas companies for non-compliance with sanitary regulations at owned or managed gas stations;
    • Management of claims against credit companies for charging unlawful fees;
  • Representation of clients in the Israel Parliaments Economics Committee, in a discussion of an amendment to the Copyright Law;
  • Accompaniment of start-up companies, from initial concept stage, engagement between entrepreneurs, protection of intellectual property, investment agreements, and contracts with clients and distributors;
  • Representation of investor in NIS 21 million company, including due diligence, drafting of agreement, and support in all milestones of transaction;
  • Group representation of real estate investors in property investments at various locations in Eastern Europe;
  • Representation of a foreign resident in claiming her rights to luxury real estate on the Herzliya shore. The client randomly discovered that her rights had been sold through fraud and misrepresentation, and a warning note issued for the benefit of the buyer. Adv. Rechnitz represented the client in filing a complaint with the police, and filed an appeal at the District Court of Tel Aviv in order to cancel the warning note. The verdict was quickly handed, the warning note was cancelled and the resident’s rights restored;
  • Successful representation of a coffee chain franchisee in court proceedings, in a claim filed against him by the chain. The procedure was completed rather quickly, with a verdict for settlement decreeing immediate termination of the franchise agreement, with the franchisee being allowed to continue operation of the café outside the framework of the chain. As this was precedential, the chain has demanded confidentiality on all other aspects of the settlement;
  • Representation of client in purchase of a luxury property in Ramat Hasharon for NIS 4,600,000;
  • Representation of client in dissolution of partnership on plot designated for construction of dozens of homes in a prestigious area of Central Israel, including representation in engagement with entrepreneur in combination transaction;
  • Ongoing representation of client owning large plots of land in a prestigious area of Rehovot, which have been released from agricultural to residential designation, including representation in sale of part of the property;
  • Representation of company in the field of water re-cycling, including support on engagement with clients (hotels, public institutions, etc.);
  • Representation of residents in contractors’ tender, including engagement with contractors and promotion of building plans, within a project of renovation entailing the construction of 250 homes instead of 80 existing homes;
  • Representation of landowner in sale of property in central area of Ramat Gan for NIS 6,000,000;
  • Representation of client in appeal of municipal tax vis-à-vis Tel Aviv Municipality, for property held by insolvent lessee, resulting in an 80% decrease in tax requirements;

Tal is diligent about maintaining a healthy lifestyle, including proper nutrition and physical activity. He is a sworn and avid fan of his favorite team Maccabi Tel Aviv in basketball and soccer.

For five years, Tal worked for an official government security institution, in classified position in Israel and overseas.
